All You Wanted To Know About Android Life Cycle

All you wanted to know about Android Life Cycle that we all witness and live in, but fail to notice that we all are caught in a vicious cycle.

Android Life Cycle
Android Life Cycle.

Most of us (barring a few crazy iOS freaks) would have bought and used at least one Android phone in our lifetime. But few know Android actually has a vicious life cycle, which is recursive in nature. Here is how it starts, grips our life within, and goes on, and on and on….The Android Life Cycle-

  1. Buy your new Android phone with latest specs.
  2. Feel happy that you have got the latest Android version with buttery smooth UI.
  3. Flaunt it among your friends and colleagues.
  4. Over the period of time, get bored with existing version of Android, and its familiar look and feel.
  5. Desperately wait for new update to arrive. Google something like “Android Lollypop 5.3.7 Galaxy S11 Update” every day, or even every hour!
  6. Feel crazily exited when it’s pushed to your phone via OTA.
  7. Realize that your phone doesn’t have enough battery to install what you’ve been waiting for months, every second!
  8. Plugin your phone to charger, check every minute if required level of battery charge has been achieved.
  9. Install instantly your dream Android update…Wooohoooo!
  10. Restart your phone, love the stunning UI, update status on Facebook with likely screenshot of the new Android flavour.
  11. In a few minutes (or maybe hours), realize that it made your phone slow, and you made a mistake :-(
  12. Burn the midnight oil attempting to revert back to older version you originally bought your phone with.
  13. Fail many times, if some features don’t work, Go to Step 12. If everything fine, proceed next.
  14. Feel proud like Einstein that you did some really geeky stuff.
  15. Remember those good old days when you bought your phone, feel nostalgic.
  16. Goto Step 4 ;-)
