Cyrus Mistry Fired, Because He Failed To Launch New Model Of Indica

Cyrus Mistry was the only Chairman who was not able to upgrade the Tata Indica car, which has been the status symbol for the Tatas.

The Tata Indica is a supermini car produced by the Indian manufacturer Tata Motors from 1998 to 2015. It is the first passenger car from Tata Motors and it is also considered India’s first indigenously developed passenger car.

Ratan Tata during his time as the Chairman had launched models after models of the Indica. In fact Tata always reinvented the Indica rather than producing new passenger cars.  Indica, Indica V1, Indica V2, Indica Vista, Indica V3, Vista V3 etc are few of the models which come to mind.

In this picture, Ratan Tata can be seen mocking A VVIP, by mimicking his behavior of looking at the camera, ignoring his surroundings.

Cyrus Mistry was in fact the only Chairman who was not able to upgrade the Indica which has been the status symbol for the Tatas. This was the reason the board felt it was right time to say ‘Tata’ to Mistry, and bring in the experienced Ratan Tata on board.

Ratan Tata’s first task would be to work with the Tata motors team to come up with an all new exciting model of Indica, which will resonate with the customers’ minds again and bring back the recall value of the Tata brand.

Well, lets see how fast can Tata come up with the new model. Till then drive your old Indica with fun.
