New Delhi: Pissed off with Modiji’s deafening silence on issues ranging from Farmer’s suicide, inflation, slowing growth and weak industrial production to unrest in different parts of the country, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today threatened to sue Modiji, if he doesn’t break his silence in 1 week.
The development comes weeks after Manmohan Singh described Narendra Modi as a ‘silent PM’.
“In the run up to last general elections, they attacked me like crazy saying I’m ‘MaunMohan Singh’. This went on to an extent even I occasionally used to speak a few words in front of mirror just to check if they were really serious. My adviser took it a bit far and issued clarification that I spoke 1198 times during my 10 years tenure,” said former PM to Teekhi Mirchi.
“…And look what they’re doing now! Just taking selfies, wandering around the world, playing drums and flute…as if there is nothing interesting about India to talk about,” cried a frustrated Manmohan Singh to Teekhi Mirchi.
“If I’d known that this roaring lion would turn out to be like a mouse, I would have happily made him President instead of that Ibn Battuta Lady- Pratibha Patil,” Manmohanji added.
Our sources in Congress party revealed that Manmohanji had gradually started loving his new identity – ‘Maun’, and had even requested his wife Gursharan Kaur to call him by that name. “He was very much attached to it,” said a Congress
Chamacha worker on condition of anonymity, adding that, “It pains a lot when someone steals your identity. Upon waking up a sunny day, you suddenly realize, you’ve no name, no purpose left in life!”
Teekhi Mirchi will update its readers when Rahul Gandhi sues Akhilesh Yadav for stealing ‘Pappu’ tag from him.
