New Delhi: In a bold move that stunned its staunchest critics and cynics, Modi government today decided to finally fulfill its several decades old poll promise of building Ram Temple. If our sources are to be believed, they are working hard on building a Grand Ram Temple Run game for both iOS and Android platforms. BJP included this promise in every election manifesto, but never fulfilled when in power, citing ‘coalition compulsions’.
The move is expected to silence skeptics within BJP who were of the view that Modi may shed some of his pro-hindutva ideology due to pragmatism. BJP supporters have hailed this development. A huge ‘Lehar‘ of joy is understood to have spread throughout the country among Modi supporters.
“Look, they promised to build temple in Ayodhya, but are in fact launching this countrywide…in fact worldwide. Only a pro-development and tech-savvy PM like Modi could have come up with such a wonderful Idea…Namo, Namo!”, someone named Bhagat Mishra wrote on his Facebook wall.
Teekhi Mirchi managed to get a sneak peek of the game through our sources in BJP IT cell, where app is being tested on a war-footing. In the game, someone named Dada Kamdev dressed in Salwar-Kameez runs on the street of Ayodhya. Theme of the game is very similar to the original Temple Run. A song titled “Ram Lulla Hum aa Gaye, Mandir wahin Bana Gaye” was also recorded for this game which gets played throughout the run.
Game turns harder when Kamdev has to cross a bridge named ‘Ram Setu‘ which is narrower and muddy. If Kamdev manages to reach the center of the city, an animation of a grand Ram Temple erecting from within ground is played. Thunder of waiting Sadhus chanting ‘Namo-Namo‘ instead of the usual ‘Jai Shri Ram‘ is heard in the background.
“We were waiting for this monument since decades for prosperity, brotherhood and well being of people in this country. We’re thankful to those who lost their lives fighting for this great cause and several those who sent huge amount of bricks, money and construction materials. Their sacrifices have finally paid off. It’s a great day for India.”, Project Manager behind this game told Teekhi Mirchi on condition of anonymity since he was not authorized to speak to media.
“We’re also working on designing another game titled “Need for Money” wherein Dada Kamdev rides a speeding racing car towards Switzerland and brings back black money to India, fulfilling Modi’s another poll promise.”, he concluded.
