Mumbai: Acting on complaints of concerned citizens and publicity experts, Government of India today banned ‘Nayak’ movie from being broadcasted on TV and movie theaters. Government had to take this drastic step because Amrish Puri’s accomplice in the movie, Saurabh Shukla who played role of a moral police head and hindu extremist, looks very similar to newly appointed president of India’s most prestigious political party – BJP.
This decision was taken in a hastily convened meeting of senior BJP leaders, who described Amit Shah’s comic portrayal in the movie as the worst image crisis facing BJP. Those who attended this meeting included Shri Yashwant Sinha, Shri Giriraj Singh, Shri Amit Shah and several other respected leaders of the country. According to our highly placed sources in BJP, Baba Ramdev who is underground for several weeks due to BJP’s U-turn on black money and tax-brackets, also attended this meeting.
“Graphic images of leaders persist in public minds and shape their opinions. That’s the reason we mostly put not-so-pleasant images of Mamata Bannerjee and Arvind Kejriwal in news reports, so that people find them as object of jokes and ridicule. It works! This decision by government makes sense and is taken in order to restore Amitji’s clean and untainted image.”, a media expert told Teekhi Mirchi.
Sources revealed to Teekhi Mirchi that after release of AIB’s Nayak-2 spoof and reports that Anil Kapur plans to make Nayak-2, people have started relating Anil Kapur with Arvind Kejriwal. Information & Broadcasting Ministry is of the view that not putting a ban on the movie would have jeopardized future plan of Amit Shah to lead BJP with huge public support.
