Gurgaon: In a latest development that’s going to revolutionize social media campaigning of various political parties, a die-hard supporter of Narendra Modi has developed a software to automatically post abusive messages on internet forums.
Abhadra Pandey, a 3rd year Computer Science & Engineering student from Gurgaon College of Engineering developed this software which he named iGaali, as a part of his vocational training this summer.
“I used to spend most of my time replying to those Congi morons who wrote shit against my idol on news websites, blogs, facebook and twitter. I tell you, it eats up hell lot of your time, around 10-15 hours of job everyday”, Abhadra told Teekhi Mirchi.
“My stint in engineering college helped me though. I learned unbelievably huge number of Hindi Gaalis here. I tell you, these Congi $%#@&$ understand only ‘this’ language. Throw it on them, and boom! all silence,” he added.
“But soon I realized that being an engineer, I need to do it smartly and efficiently. After my exams, I wrote this software that imitated what I was actually doing in real life sitting on my chair for hours. It has a huge database of Hindi Gaalis. I wrote a web crawler that searches for all internet posts and articles with the keyword ‘Modi’, ‘Narendra Modi’ or ‘Gujarat’. Then it finds posts that contain ‘offensive’ terms like ‘Feku’, ‘FekChilli’, ‘FekuExpress’, ‘Riot’, ‘2002’, ‘Justice’, ‘Bhatt’, ‘Teesta’, ‘Nanavati’, ‘apologize’, ‘secular’ among 15000 other disallowed words. It automatically replies them with a post that is created at runtime by randomly selecting a Hindi Gaali from its huge database”, he further elaborated.
When asked how is it different from spam bots that already exist in cyber space, he replied with his eyes turning bigger, “In order to imitate real-life cyber behavior, this software classifies abuses into many levels. If a reply is given by someone on the abusive post, this level is further increased and even a more abusive post is added by the software. This is a recursive function that doesn’t exit as long as reply from the ‘offending’ party keeps on coming. It also comes with an intelligent algorithm that dodges captcha. Other than that it has a learning capability. Its database of Gaalis, post and reply template, offending words, search terms etc are dynamically updated.”
Abhadra has already applied for a patent and is expecting a hefty pay cheque from biggies like Google/ Facebook in upcoming campus placement. He is also planning to come up with ‘enterprise’ version of this software that will contain advanced features and is expected to be sold like hot cake to biggies like Congress and BJP.
It can crawl web and download picture of a nice looking road, bridge, building, toll booth, riverside etc from cities in developed countries. It will then add a caption like, “Guess where this is from? Singapore/ NewYork/ London? NO! This is Modi’s Gujarat!!!” and finally post it on social media websites with already created account. Innovative features like this are already in manual use by Modi loyalists that Abhadra is planning to automate and add in the enterprise version.
Abhadra has also released iOS and Android version of this software for mobile people. He was however, not too sure about a Windows Phone or Blackberry version.
“See, it even recognizes gender of the offending person and avoids using abuses, look at what it posted here:”
You look 100% Tunch Maal. Must be from Namo’s Gujarat, because it’s the second most developed state according to International Council of UN and supplies milk to the entire world. #Namo4PM. I am blocked, please add me :'(
He proudly showed it to this Teekhi Mirchi reporter, after which we concluded the interview.
